Women are actually at the very frontline of the HIV/AIDS pandemic, and part of what I do is to try to get that message across. And through my, sort of, experiences and campaigning, I’ve really understood just how much women are struggling and suffering all around the world.

Every year on March 8, women all over the world celebrate International Women's Day (IWD). The day is marked to celebrate women's solidarity, to raise awareness of the ongoing struggles that women face and to express a commitment to fighting for women's social, political, and economic rights.
