A poet with a passion, Zeinab Koumanthio Diallo, is in love with the lush landscape of her people, the Peuls of central Guinea. And unlike many other writers who fled during the dark days of the country’s former dictatorship, Zeinab chose to stay.We must stay. Not everyone can leave; we must stay and confront reality. We must speak for those who cannot speak.The first Guinean to publish an anthology of poems, today she has a dozen publications to her name including plays and stories.
