Crime Commissions

Crime commissions are governmental organs mostly created in the wake of mass atrocity, but they may also be formed to address or combat large-scale and potentially ongoing criminal activities at a local or national level that do not necessarily involve elements of transnational or international law, such as New York City's Commission to Combat Police Corruption or the Australian Crime Commission, which has jurisdiction over organized crime and related multijurisdictional investigations in that country.
