St. Petersburg (Saint Petersburg) is the second largest city in Russia and its second largest city in terms of international arrivals. Euromonitor International listed St. Petersburg among its top 100 cities in the world in terms of the number of international tourists who arrived in each city during 2014. About three million international visitors arrive in St. Petersburg each year. The city is seen as the cultural capital of Russia and has great tourism potential due to its rich history, culture, and architecture.
