Paris, France

Paris is the capital of France. It is also the country’s most populated city, with the highest density of inhabitants per square kilometer. Located in the north of France, this 105-square-kilometer piece of land was home to 2.25 million Parisians and host to 29.3 million visitors in 2013. Paris is one of eight administrative districts making up Île-de-France (Island of France), the wealthiest out of France’s 27 regions.
