Educational tourism comprises travel and tourism activity that is primarily motivated by the tourists’ seeking of educational components. There are three broad areas in which educational tourism occurs nowadays: In the context of (higher) education there are excursions/field trips for students conducted to reinforce theoretical insight from the classroom and to expose learners to real-life experience.
