Climate change is a significant issue for tourism: It is a phenomenon that is already affecting the sector and its impacts are expected only to grow in magnitude and become ever more pervasive. All forms of tourism depend to some extent on climatic conditions. Climate change thus has the potential to influence all kinds of tourism, wherever it is taking place.
