Ukraine

Ukraine is located in southeast Europe with about 44 million inhabitants and with a land area of around 233,000 square miles. The country, which is the sixth largest nation in Europe, has borders with Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Russia, Moldova, and Belarus. The national language, Ukrainian, is one of the most widely spoken among the 12 members of Slavic group of the larger Indo-European language group.

The climate in Ukraine is dry continental with warm summers and cold winters. The capital of Ukraine is Kiev with 2.9 million inhabitants.
