Technology Expenditure

Technology expenditure can be defined as the expenditure associated with acquirement or development, implementation, deployment, and maintenance of technology assets, including the investment in research and development equipment and amortization of expertise and skills. These expenditures can be in various sectors, including information and communication, agriculture, health, education, or national security. While in the private sector, technology expenditure is governed by organizational policies and financial health; in the public sector, technology expenditure is governed by the regulations set out in managing public money that regulate the overriding principles for dealing with resources used by public sector organizations of the country.
