Systems Approach for Better Education Results

The World Bank launched the Systems Approach for Better Education Results (SABER) in 2011 as part of its commitment to improving education around the world. SABER is a critical element in the strengthening of educational systems at the policy level that examines education systems and compares them with evidence-based standards. The World Bank understands that education is the key to defeating world poverty. SABER develops new diagnostic tools and creates multiple benchmarks to rate education policies and outcomes.
