In any society, there are the haves and the have-nots. Generally, the disparity between these two groups can be traced back to a number of factors or reasons. Examples of situations or conditions that can stunt economic growth and increase poverty include circumstances such as climate change, corporation downsizing or unemployment, personal issues experienced by the individual, etc. Some personal issues experienced by individuals or families include medical challenges or injuries, divorce, lack of education, family environment, etc. However, the main challenge to stimulate economic growth and reduce poverty is employment.
