Around the world, countries have been experiencing poverty at an increased level since the global economic crisis. It doesn’t seem to matter whether the country is developing or developed, the increase in natural disasters coupled with wars and social unrest have contributed to a growing poor class. Social safety net programs have not been adequate to help raise those who were initially middle class out of poverty.
