Honduras

Honduras is one of the five sovereign states in the isthmus of Central America. Even though geographically there are seven countries in the Central American isthmus, in general only five Spanish-speaking sovereign nations are counted as the countries of Central America. Belize is an English-speaking commonwealth realm, and Panama, located on the Central American isthmus, has historically been considered part of South America. Honduras is limited by two coasts: the Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Fonseca, as well as by the republics of Nicaragua, El Salvador, and Guatemala. Its capital city is Tegucigalpa, and its second most important city is San Pedro Sula, an important hub of trade and commerce.
