Ethiopia

The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia is located in the Horn of Africa. It is bordered by Eritrea to the north, Djibouti and Somalia to the east, Sudan and South Sudan to the west, and Kenya to the south. In 2015, the country had over 98 million citizens, with the capital and largest city being Addis Ababa. Within the world context, a number of unique items are found in Ethiopia. For example, it is the birthplace of coffee and is the largest producer of coffee on the continent, accounting for the largest percentage of Ethiopia’s exports.
