Angola

The southern African nation of Angola, roughly square in shape, is bordered to the northwest by the Republic of Congo, to the north and northeast by the Democratic Republic of the Congo, to the southeast by Zambia, and the west by the Atlantic Ocean. Angola also has an exclave, the Cabinda province, located to the north, on the Atlantic Ocean, with a small part of the Democratic Republic of the Congo between it and the rest of Angola.

Relations between the Republic of Angola and the United States have warmed since it renounced Marxism in 1992.
