U.S. Army War College

The U.S. Army War College is one of the three senior military service colleges in the United States (the other two being the U.S. Naval War College and the U.S. Air War College). Annually, several hundred lieutenant colonel and colonel rank officers attend the 10-month resident course, while many others enroll in an equivalent two-year distance learning program. Resident classes include officers from all U.S. uniformed services, senior government national security professionals, and international students of similar backgrounds. Successful completion of the course, whether resident or distance learning, earns a master’s degree in strategic studies.
