Media briefings and releases are communication packages that include selective information about a particular phenomenon. They are specifically designed to market communication to target audience groups using various media channels. In the field of advertising, especially, media briefings are construed as tools to disseminate information about specific products, services, or ideas. They also provide background information to help contextualize the product within appropriate frames of references.
