Pornography

Trans pornography broadly describes written, spoken, and visual material relating to trans people and transsexualities. Trans pornography exists within a vast and heterogenous network of intimate labors practiced by trans people that includes video pornography, street-based prostitution, escorting, camming, phone sex, erotic photography, and erotic literature. No matter the industry in question, all trans sex work exists within a public sphere where the representation of trans and gender-nonconforming people has been restricted to reductive and dehumanizing stereotypes.
