Coherence therapy is a focused, experiential methodology that guides deep resolution of the core emotional themes that maintain a client’s presenting problems and symptoms. Applicable with individuals, couples, and families, it is a systematic application of what is known about emotional learning and unlearning. The coherence therapy approach consists of bringing the implicit emotional learnings underlying and generating a given problem or symptom into explicit awareness and then guiding the innate process of memory reconsolidation to unlearn and dissolve that material.
