Website and Webpage

A webpage is a hypertext document that is connected to the Internet and is accessible through a web browser (e.g., Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge), which retrieves it from a server. A website typically contains several webpages linked together; very large websites may have thousands of pages. Webpages and websites are the lowest level in the hierarchy of layers that constitute the Internet and are therefore the dimension most visible to users: Webpages are how the vast majority of netizens interact with the web. For most people, webpages are the Internet in its entirety. Websites are thus where the psychology of the user confronts the structure and content of the Internet.
