Telemetric Policing

Telemetry involves an advanced and automated communications system that includes the transmission of measurements and other data collected without a person being present from remote locations to receiving equipment for monitoring purposes. Wireless telemetry systems are capable of wireless transmissions across significant distances. Telemetric applications and new technologies are contributing to a burgeoning relationship between visual technologies, other components of telemetric surveillance electronic identification, and the administration of justice and public safety. This technology-based relationship results in what is referred to as telemetric policing, which is an integral aspect of a technologically based system of justice characterized as simulated justice.
