Synology Surveillance Station

Synology Surveillance Station (SSS) is a network video recording system created by Taiwanese company Synology. Network video recording is a software program that records digital video to a network-attached storage (NAS) device, in this case Synology’s DiskStation (DS). SSS uses internet protocol security cameras to conduct surveillance. The surveillance data captured by SSS is managed by Synology DS NAS devices, allowing users to save, manage, share, upload, and download security data from potentially anywhere using mobile technology. Originally introduced in 2009, the beta 8.0 version of SSS was released in January 2017.
