Swiss Stem Cells Network

The Swiss Stem Cells Network (SSCN), founded in 2004, is a nonprofit organization of scientists and clinicians engaged in work with stem cells. The purpose of the SSCN is to foster interactions among scientists and between scientists and society, to advance discoveries in the science of embryonic and adult stem cells, to educate the public about stem cell research, to encourage young scientists (particularly minorities and women), and to support communication about ethical issues in stem cell research. Not among the SSCN’s goals, however, is reproductive cloning, which the organization does not support.
