Douglas Losordo is chief medical officer of NeoStem, Inc., adjunct professor of Medicine at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, and clinical professor of Medicine at New York University School of Medicine. He serves on the scientific advisory board of the Stem for Life Foundation (SFLF), and has led multiple clinical trials involving cardiovascular stem cell therapies.

Losordo was born in Brooklyn, New York, in 1957. He attended the University of Vermont in Burlington, where he received his Bachelor of Arts and Doctor of Medicine degrees.
