EuroStemCell began in March 2010 as an initiative to unite more than 90 European stem cell and regenerative medicine research laboratories in a harmonized effort to inform and engage the general public regarding stem cell science, facilitate professional collaboration within the field, and increase visibility of European stem cell research throughout the world. A diverse range of scientists, clinicians, ethicists, communicators, teachers, and patient representatives across Europe are actively involved in the EuroStemCell venture.

The hub of the program is the website, www.eurostemcell.org, which serves as the primary vehicle for sharing reliable information, detailed analyses, and educational resources regarding the latest scientific and clinical developments, real-world applications, ethical issues, and regulations associated with stem cell and regenerative research.
