Dental: Development and Regeneration Potential

In recent decades, stem cell therapies are being recognized as a promising treatment approach for a variety of diseases and disorders. Stem cells possess multi-lineage differentiation and regeneration properties. Like adult stem cells, dental stem cells (DSCs) possess mesenchymal stem cells’ (MSCs) regenerative properties that gained steam in research and clinical applicability. As of 2014, six main dental-related progenitor stem cells have been identified.
