Artificial Intelligence (AI)

AI is the scholarly area to research, design, and construct a computerized machine to do intellectual work. AI is regarded as ‘moonshot research’, meaning a bold effort to reach an imaginable aim. The term artificial intelligence was officially launched at the Dartmouth Summer Research Project on Artificial Intelligence in 1956. After inventor Ray Kurzweil’s The Singularity Is Near was published in 2006, widespread interest in AI increased.

With the coming of deep learning, a kind of machine learning method, AI became more socially integrated, with expectations that more areas of life would be influenced.
