Reproductive Cancer and Mental Health in Women

Reproductive cancers are diseases in which abnormal cells divide uncontrollably and destroy body tissue in organs related to reproduction or sex. For women, these cancers affect organs such as the vagina, the uterus, the cervix, the ovaries, the fallopian tubes, and other surrounding areas. Accordingly, the most common forms of reproductive cancer are vaginal cancer, uterine cancer, cervical cancer, ovarian cancer, vulvar cancer, and fallopian tube cancer. Breast cancer is sometimes considered a reproductive cancer.

In general, reproductive cancers are hard to detect until they have been developed in the body, as symptoms tend not to develop in the earlier stages of cancer.
