Multiracial People and Sexual Orientation

Race and sexual orientation are important factors for understanding individuals’ identity development and psychological well-being. Although attention has been paid to people of color and sexual orientation in general, limited empirical research has focused on multiracial people and sexual orientation. This entry examines current understandings of the intersections of multiracial identity and sexual orientation identity and particularly how sexual orientation affects multiracial people’s everyday lives.
