Procter & Gamble (P&G) is an American company producing health, household, and food products. Among its most recognized brands are Pampers, Tide, Ariel, Always, Whisper, Pantene, Folgers, Crest, Duracell, Olay, Charmin, Downy, Lenor, Iams, Head & Shoulders, Wella, Gillette, and Braun. From its beginnings in Cincinnati, Ohio, P&G has grown internationally and now employs 140,000 people in more than 80 nations. In addition, the company participates in various development programs that offer support to developing countries.

Brothers-in-law William Procter and James Gamble founded P&G in 1837.
