Mexico

Mexico is a North American country sharing borders with the United States, Belize, and Guatemala, and having coastlines on both the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocean. The population in July 2014 was 120.3 million, 12th largest in the world, and the capital city of Mexico City has a population of about 20.8 million. Mexico is classified as an uppermiddle-income country by the World Bank. Life expectancy at birth is 76 years, and healthy life expectancy is 67 years. The most common causes of death in 2012 were primarily chronic diseases, with the top five being diabetes, ischemic heart disease, stroke, interpersonal violence, and cirrhosis of the liver.
