Medical Marijuana Legislation (Israel)

Many countries the world over and many states within the United States have been experimenting with the legalization or decriminalization of marijuana, especially marijuana used for medicinal (not purely recreational) purposes. One country that is considered very progressive on the medical marijuana front is Israel, which has allowed the consumption of cannabis for medical purposes and sanctioned particular cannabis-producing companies to cultivate and distribute marijuana either at company-run stores or through medical centers (hospitals, pharmacies, etc.).
