International Pharmaceutical Federation

The International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) is the worldwide organization of national pharmaceutical professional and scientific associations in official relations with the UN World Health Organization (WHO). The FIP was founded in 1912, with the mission to provide representation and service to pharmacy practice and pharmaceutical sciences around the world. The International Pharmaceutical Federation represents and serves over 2 million of its practitioners and scientists globally, through its approximately 127 Member Organizations and 4,000 Individual Members. The supreme mission of the FIP is to ameliorate global health by promoting pharmacy practice and science to empower better discovery, development, and access to and safe utilization of efficacious, cost-effective, and quality medicines internationally.
