British Pharmacological Society, The

The British Pharmacological Society (BPS), an international organization, is centered on research into drugs and the actions of drugs. Members of the society number over 3,500 and are spread across 60 countries worldwide. The BPS embraces a broad scope of pharmacology, including toxicological, laboratory, and clinical aspects, and members of the BPS work in academia, health services, industry, and regulatory agencies. The interests of pharmacologists are protected and promoted by the society through its educational materials, scientific meetings, and peer-reviewed online journals.
