Biogen Idec

Biogen Idec is a biotechnology company located in Cambridge, Massachusetts, that delivers therapies specific to autoimmune, hematologic, and neurodegenerative diseases. The company’s products are used by patients worldwide to treat some of the most hard-to-treat diseases, such as Parkinson’s disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, and Alzheimer’s disease. Biogen Idec is also a global leader in research for multiple sclerosis (MS) and has created high-efficiency drugs to treat MS, as well as making prominent advances in treating hemophilia B and hemophilia A. Biogen’s product pipeline is mid- to-late stage in nature, and includes seven drugs. The company also provides support services for patients with MS and hemophilia.
