University of California, San Francisco

The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) is the branch of the University of California system that focuses exclusively on health care. In existence for more than 150 years, UCSF includes schools of pharmacy, medicine, dentistry, and nursing and is the second largest employer in the city of San Francisco. The faculty of UCSF include many distinguished scholars who have made instrumental contributions in the study of health-related issues such as cancer, neurodegenerative diseases, and stem cell research.

UCSF is a member of the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP). Studies and research are centered on drug-related sciences and specialized pharmacy patient care.
