Swiss Society of Pharmacology and Toxicology

In 1965, the Swiss Society of Pharmacology and Toxicology (SSPT), a scientific society, was founded with the sole objective of supporting and promoting all pharmacological and toxicological interests within Switzerland. Nearly 550 members, in different capacities, represent the Swiss Society of Pharmaceutical Medicine (SGPM), the Swiss Society of Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology (SSCPT), and the Swiss Society of Experimental Pharmacology (SSEP). For all the associated societies, general-interest scientific meetings are organized by the SSPT. The pharmacological and toxicological field is represented by SSPT within the purview of the Swiss Academy of Sciences (sc-nat) and Life Sciences Switzerland (LS2).
