Everyday creativity refers to the ways in which people make meaning from everyday life and transform it in the process. This entry provides information about the different approaches to everyday creativity and how it has been studied within different contexts and settings. Research on the conceptualizations of creativity and the everyday are described. Of particular attention is the use children and young people make of the “stuff” of the everyday to make meanings and then the ways in which they transform these meanings through creative processes and practices to make new things.
