Digital Youth Network

The Digital Youth Network (DYN) is a Chicago-based organization that designs learning environments to support urban youth in developing the critical, social, and technical skills necessary for participation in the 21st century. The DYN design model builds on a learning ecologies framework that envisions learning as an ongoing process that happens in overlapping formal and informal spaces. As such, DYN utilizes technology infrastructure, such as online platforms, and community collaborations, including partnerships with schools, libraries, and community centers, to empower youth from areas that have traditionally been underserved.
