Digital Storytelling

Defining digital storytelling in the 21st century is complex given that computation has now become near ubiquitous, and it has been associated with a growth in opportunities for many of us (but by no means all) to voice our own opinions, tell our stories, and otherwise self-represent. Definitions do, however, tend to highlight a number of common characteristics brought together under the rubric of digital storytelling—everyday people telling stories about their own lives using digital media. This use of the personal narrative has become the hallmark of the form.
