Bookmarking is the act of saving the uniform resource locator (URL) of a particular website on a web browser so that users can easily access it later. This function is a helpful tool for users who regularly visit a number of websites, or they just want to mark interesting webpages in order to access them later. In both cases, the bookmarking function enables them to connect to websites without having to type in the URLs—users simply find the shortcut in their browser and select it.
