Bangladesh

Bangladesh, a country in South Asia that is home to more than 160 million people, is among the top-ranked countries in terms of population density, with more than 1,000 people per square kilometer. Once known to the world for its poverty and natural calamities, Bangladesh’s economic growth has earned it the title of New Asian Tiger. In March 2018, the United Nations said that improvements in health and education along with an economic boom meant that Bangladesh was likely to leave the category of least developed countries by 2024.
