Silicon Valley

Silicon Valley is a region in Northern California in the United States that is known globally for being an innovation hub for high-tech, media and communication technology, Internet and computer applications, social media services, and technology start-ups. It is located in the southern San Francisco Bay Area and corresponds approximately to the geographical Santa Clara Valley. The Valley’s largest city is San Jose, and other major Silicon Valley cities include Palo Alto, Cupertino, Santa Clara, Mountain View, and Sunnyvale.
