An RSS reader, also known as an aggregator, is used to collect and manage information that has previously been selected from different sources. RSS, which stands for really simple syndication, is a format for sharing information, such as articles or news, in various format types (e.g., text, podcasts, pictures, videos, wikis). For instance, when a blog makes available an extensible markup language file, it defines an RSS feed, which includes particular information such as the blog’s URL, title, and content summary. When someone wants to access the feed, it is necessary to use an RSS reader.
