Family Resource Management

Being part of a family requires giving time and attention to the myriad of resources shared by members of families. Although many initially think of money and financial stability when considering resources, family resource management refers to the time and energy put into the family as well as financial abilities, people outside of the family, objects, and space. Resource management is multifarious and family decisions are made after considering how each resource affects the goals of individuals in the family and the goals and comfort of the family as a whole.
