Collaborative Couples Therapy
Collaborative couples therapy (CCT) is a form of counseling that was created by Daniel B. Wile. The focus of CCT is to help both people in the counseling session find their voices in the face of arguments or times of stress. While most forms of couples therapy focus on the communication patterns found within a partnership, in collaborative couples therapy the therapist works as a clarifier to help each of the partners better hear what is being said in the moment.
