Training in Marriage Enrichment (TIME) Program

The Training in Marriage Enrichment (TIME) program was created by Don Dinkmeyer Sr. (1924–2001) and Jon Carlson as a psychoeducational program to assist couples in learning the skills needed to create a satisfying partnership. The TIME program is a skill-based intervention that supplements or replaces therapy by showing couples healthier ways in which to interact in order to achieve a more loving, supportive, and enriching relationship. This program has been empirically validated and was created for counselors, therapists, or clergy to help any couple motivated to grow and strengthen their relationship, not necessarily just for couples experiencing extreme marriage challenges.
