Death Rates, Leading Causes by Developmental Period
This entry provides information on the leading causes of death at different developmental periods and in various geographic regions of the world. In order to efficiently present the information, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has provided a table detailing the statistics in the United States, and various tables have been constructed with data from the World Health Organization in order to cover the statistics in the world regions. Each table depicts in descending order the leading causes of death for each age-group and also provides the number of people that ranking represents.
