Teachers
After parents, teachers are among the adults most present in a child’s life. From kindergarten up until the end of compulsory school, teachers are responsible for classroom organization and learning activities. They provide students with the educational and emotional support necessary for classroom learning and success as well as harmonious social, emotional, and cognitive development. Teachers also serve as a resource to allow students to explore their environment, flexibly manage new experiences and challenges, and adapt to academic requirements. In school, teachers help their students develop the competencies and skills that not only enable children to obtain their diploma but also contribute to their socialization and future integration into the labor market.
