Online Communication

Online communication is defined as the use of a digital platform for communication between individuals or among groups. One popular form of digital communication is text messaging, which involves exchanging brief messages (usually fewer than 161 characters) between cell phones. Text messaging is primarily exchanged between two individuals, but text messages can also be shared among groups. Another important form of online communication is engagement with social media.
